I have to admit I'm conflicted in starting a 40k blog.

On the one hand I have read a lotos the ubber lists for all armies that, honestly, make me sick. List where all the fun has been taken out and every last little bit of perceived performance is achiever by minimizing the sizes of squads (why take 10 men squads when 5 will work just fine), let's load out the heavy squads with as many missile launchers as we can (doesn't matter if they'll only pop a monolith or a land raider on a 6, let's use them anyways)  among others tricks.

On the other hand we have the people who whine and don't get the essence of table top miniature games. If the strategy and tactics don't work change them, change your army and keep trying until you get something that works for your army the way you want it to play.

So to avoid both extremes, this will be primarily a fluff blog. Yeah, there will be rants, opinion, links to other interesting stuff around the inter webs, lists and battle reports but it's primarily a place to do drafts of what'll be the fluff for my new Space Wolves army, based around Ragnar Blackmane's great company's portion of a new Great Hunt decreed by the Great Wolf in 999M40
